I came to see Dr. Kaley Burns in May 2021. I had been suffering from chronic neck pain for years at that point. I have a double protrusion and bulge on my C6/7 that had been causing horrible nerve pain in my neck and shooting down into my shoulder, arm, and fingers. I had tried everything to mitigate the pain; physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, steroid injections, scores of medication both prescription and holistic. I had basically given up at that point in life. I had just returned from a certification backpacking course for my job (Yellowstone Park guide). I couldn't even enjoy the trip because I was in pain the whole time. It was to the point that I could not turn my head to the left or upwards without extreme pain. I was depressed and starting to think I would have to change careers. Dr. Burns took a look at my most recent MRI and suggested that I try PRP injections. The suggestion intrigued me and I heard many success stories from friends and family that had done PRP. I got my first round of injections at the beginning of June 2021 and the second round in July. The actual procedure was easy, even for someone who HATES needles! She was very thoughtful and careful and there was virtually no pain. By August I was able to fully move my neck in any direction with NO pain! After years of chronic pain and sleepless nights, my LIFE WAS CHANGED. I had 5-6 months pain free after those first sessions. We did another 2 sessions ending this February with similar results. I am currently able to do things that were virtually impossible just a year ago. I highly recommend trying PRP for pain relief to anyone! I can't even begin to tell you how much it has helped me, but this was my attempt.

I personally worked with her on stem cell injections on both knees (I've torn my ACL and both meniscus). I'm back to weight lifting, mountain biking, and skiing with excellent results.
